Model 20-20
The basic design shown here is intended to present a wind vane self-steering device that can be built with minimal skills using low cost materials. It is intended to offer a way to try self-steering on your boat before spending a lot on either a commercial model or building with more expensive materials.
However, it is not as "Flimsy" as might be suggested by the use of wood and PVC pipe. See the commentary page for more detail.
